Mill Bank Wellbeing Centre is a Supported Housing Unit for Homeless Vulnerable Families.
Mill Bank Wellbeing Centre is part of Places for People and Places for People Living Plus.
The Centre helps out homeless families and help get them set up with budgeting, housing, benefits and community involvement. The Centre also runs different activities involving the local community.
Community Cafe
The Community Cafe is open Mondays 10am - 12.30pm and Thursdays 10am - 2.30pm. The Centre is also open outside of these hours but by appointment only.
The cafe has very cheap and free if in need food and drink. The Centre will always offer a free brew at any time for those in need.
The Centre is a listening ear service - advice and sign-posting and emotional support.
Mill Bank Wellbeing Centre Services
The Centre can offer:
- Food parcels for those in need 24/7
- Dry clothing and sleeping bags to access 24/7
- Arm and Hand massage (free by appointment during weekdays)
- Job Club takes place at the Centre on a Tuesday 1pm - 3pm or by appointment at most times during the week.
- Young parents group run by Stoneygate on Wednesdays 1.30pm - 3pm
- Sexual Health Service - condoms available 24/7
