Funding available for Community Groups and Individuals

Are you doing something good for people living with dementia but need some more money to expand it or keep it going?
Are you living with dementia and need a bit of help in buying some equipment to enable you to start a new hobby?
Do you care for someone living with dementia and want to help them to try something new or get them something they need to continue a meaningful activity?
Grants are available for individuals and groups for the benefit of people living with dementia or memory concerns in Greater Preston, South Ribble and Chorley.
Age Concern Central Lancashire, Alzheimer's Society and Age UK Lancashire are here to help you build sustainable activities and hobbies.
How to apply for the funding?
Individuals can apply for up to £100 using our simple application form.
Groups can apply for up to £1,000 to support the development of innovative, self-sustaining activities or peer support groups and to promote social links and community networks for people with dementia and memory concerns and their carers.
*This NHS CCG funded grant is limited to those residing within the geographical boundaries of Greater Preston, South Ribble or Chorley.
Age Concern Central Lancashire administer the funding pot but coproduce this funding with Alzheimer's Society and Age UK Lancashire.
