City of Sanctuary is a movement committed to building a culture of hospitality and welcome, especially for refugees seeking sanctuary from war and persecution.

The local City of Sanctuary group is called Preston City of Sanctuary and the group is a network of volunteers, professionals, and faith organisations, working together with asylum seekers and refugees living in Preston, committed to supporting new citizens.
