Lancashire Victim Services
Changes to support for victims of crime in Lancashire
Anyone affected by crime in Lancashire can access specialist, dedicated support to cope, recover, and move forward.
A range of support services, funded by Lancashire's Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw, is available to offer expert emotional support and practical help, tailored to the type of crime experienced.
Paladin Service
Starting from 1 April 2025, commissioned victim services will, for the first time, include specialized, dedicated support for victims of stalking, provided by Paladin.
Paladin's team of accredited Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworkers will offer expert advice, advocacy, and support, ensuring that victims are protected and their voices are heard.
Paladin now provides dedicated support for victims of stalking through their team of accredited Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworkers, who offer specialist advice, advocacy, and support to ensure victims are protected and their voices are heard.
Dedicated teams within Victim Support provide specialist assistance to victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence. Their specially trained professionals offer non-judgmental support, prioritizing the safety and confidentiality of victims. Support for young victims of crime is available through Nest Lancashire, also delivered by Victim Support.
Victim Care Lancashire
Victim Care Lancashire, a new service, offers support for all other types of crime.
The team of specially trained Victim Care Advisers, based within Lancashire Constabulary, provides free, confidential, and non-judgmental assistance. This includes emotional support, addressing victims' concerns, and directing them to additional resources based on their needs.
You can find contact details for all commissioned services in the Support Directory on the Victim Care Lancashire website.
