Headway Central Lancashire
Supporting people who have suffered an acquired brain injury or a major trauma, their families and friends.
A Committee of professionals from legal, financial and rehabilitation backgrounds, family members and people who have an acquired brain injury formed Headway.
The group became an independent registered charity on 21st October 2011 responsible for its own governance and funding.
On 4 October 2021 approval was sought from the Charity Commission, Companies House and Headway UK to change the charity name to Headway Central Lancashire.

Headway Central Lancashire provides a wide range of advice and information and support to adults affected by acquired brain injury and a major trauma injury through our Neuro Support and Major Trauma Patient Support Service.

How to make an appointment
You can make an appointment to visit Headway Office, at the Community Sessions, while you are in hospital or at home.
