Federation of Small Businesses and the Lancashire Skills and Employment Board have teamed up to deliver a skills event helping to address the skills gap in Lancashire and support Lancashire's Local Authorities.

Find out about how apprenticeships could work for your business and how to get involved in the Lancashire's Skills pledge.

We will be joined by three guest speakers.

Paul Hannant - Lancashire Skills & Employment Hub

Lancashire's Apprenticeship Evangelist - Providing residents and employers of Lancashire real-world and impartial advice and information about apprenticeships. Selling nothing, sharing plenty!

Michelle Fox - Lancashire Skills Pledge

Michelle has a broad experience in Further Education, management, employer engagement, and workforce development. Currently an Employer Engagement Enterprise Coordinator at Lancashire Careers Hub, Michelle supports impactful programs to improve careers outcomes for young people and promote inclusion. Working alongside the Lancashire Skills Hub Michelle Works with Educational Institutions and business to establish a talent pipeline and future workforce that meets the current and future demands of the local labour market.

Her certifications in leadership, guidance, and safeguarding reflect her dedication to empowering individuals and fostering systemic career development change.

Darren Jenkinson - AI Specialist DigiEnable

Darren Jenkinson is a seasoned digital strategist with over 20 years of experience using technology to help businesses and individuals connect with their audiences. As co-founder of DigiEnable and CanDoLeads, he specialises in digital training, marketing, and automation solutions that drive growth. Darren's background includes working as a radio producer, where he honed his skills in communication and content creation. His diverse experience spans across various industries, helping businesses simplify complex processes and amplify their digital presence.
